The Lady from the Sea at Scottish Opera

I am getting very excited about my move to Glasgow later this week for the world premiere production of Craig Armstrong’s The Lady from the Sea. This is a co-production between Scottish Opera and Edinburgh International Fesitval. Zoe Strachan has written the libretto (after the play of the same name by Ibsen) and the production promises to feature lots of video to tie in with Armstrong’s cinematic experience (Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo and Juliet and Moulin Rouge).

I will be singing the role of Hilde who has quite a dark side which I’m looking forward to exploring.
