I recently had the pleasure of recording Three Songs on Poems of Michael Hartnett by Ashkhan Behzadi for the Irish Language Art Song Project.
The Irish Language Art Song Project or Tionscadal nAmhráin Ealíne Gaelige is an ambitious project to create an open source website for 50 newly comissioned art songs in the Irish Language complete with scores, translations, IPA, texts, recordings of spoken text and the songs. This is a unique body of work which provides an incredible resource for anyone looking to perform or explore songs in the Irish language. The website is hosted by the Contemporary Music Centre.
