Four Star Reviews for Il Parnaso Confuso!

I had a ball performing with Les Bougies Baroques at Wilton’s Music Hall last Thursday. In spite of a tube strike we had a fantastic audience and everyone had a brilliant time – even the reviewers!

The Guardian said it was ‘great fun and hugely enjoyable’ and that ‘Halpin and Manifold steal the show with their arias, easily and exquisitely voiced’.

While Robert Hugill noted ‘It was a delightful, frothy and engaging 75 minutes.’ ‘Daire Halpin’s brisk, Apollo sung with a lovely bright voice, warmed with vibrato and with a fine strong sense of line‘. ‘Daire Halpin brought cool brilliance to the role of Apollo’.
