I’m delighted to announce that I will be giving a recital of English song at St Martin in the Fields as part of the Northern Lights Symphony Orchestra’s new music series on the 17th of December. The concert will take place at lunchtime and feature Adam Johnson on the piano. The programme includes Purcell’s The Blessed Virgin’s Expostulation, a selection of folk song arrangements by Britten and some rarely heard songs by his teacher Frank Bridge.
