I will be singing the role of Tytania (the Queen of the Fairies) in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream with the Yorke Trust as part of the Familiar Field’s Festival – a year long programme of events in Suffolk and Norfolk to celebrate Britten’s centenary. Directed by Jennifer Hamilton and with costumes and design by Gidon Saks, it promises to be an extraordinary production. Performances are in a bat sanctuary and as the sun goes down the bats may even join in the show. Performances are on the 26th-28th of July with more information and tickets available here.
