Dunlaoghaire Organ Concert 7.7.24 8pm

I will be performing a recital alongside organist David O’Shea at St Michael’s Church, Dunlaoghaire as part of the Dunlaoghaire Organ Concerts series on Sunday 7th of July at 8pm.

This series has been ongoing weekly for the summer months since the organ was built in 1974 featuring organists and soloists from Ireland and all over the world.

The organ itself is a 26 stop, 2 manual and pedal instrument that, at the time of its construction, it was the first all-mechanical action organ to be built in Ireland for almost 100 years, and the first new organ to be based on neo-baroque aesthetic principles of design and construction. It was constructed by the Austrian firm Rieger Orgelbau.
